Wherever I break earth there later hover feathery thrumming clouds of bugs. Out come the (slightly crusty) plastic seedling plug trays and my STASH, kept lovingly in a set of creamy pink vintage metal drawers. This year’s premeditated shopping adventures have included interesting varieties from seedhouses like TerritorialSeed Co., Seed Savers Exchange, and High Country Gardens.
